A tribute to our origins and unparalleled legacy of American hatmaking, The Philadelphia 160th Edition honors the city where John B. Stetson built his legendary factorya massive and modern complex that produced three million hats annually at its peak. Even at that quantity, it was always guided by Stetsons original motto: None but of sterling quality. Continuing that tradition of impeccably crafted dress hats, The Philadelphia 160th Edition is handmade in the U.S.A. from luxurious 100% beaver fur felt for unbeatable softness and natural resilience, and has a silk finish that gives it a smooth, refined appearance and soft, elegant handfeel.

Its vintage-inspired profile features a 4″ pinch front crown and a 2 5/8″ x 2 3/8″ brim, a classic, compact silhouette that recalls the golden era of American dress hats, complemented by a wide grosgrain band and removable feather detail.

The 160th Anniversary Collection celebrates John B. Stetsons founding of his namesake company in 1865 and embodies his original commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Each limited edition hat is marked by a signature Five Dollar gold coin emblema nod to the price paid for the first Stetson ever sold, by John B. Stetson to a passing bullwhacker in the Colorado Rockies in the early 1860sas well as a 160 deluxe satin liner and custom leather sweatband.
